MFA Auditions
This coaching option is for the student auditioning for an MFA acting program
Please note that I am also available for theater and film auditions to give feedback and guidance.
Having attended the prestigious National Theater Conservatory Graduate Acting Program, and gone through the MFA audition process, I understand the need of helping each actor feel comfortable about their acting school auditions.
Together we will work on getting rid of the confusion, anxiety, and the overwhelming complexity of prepping for a graduate school audition that can drive an artist mad.
I will help guide you through the entire process, culminating in presenting your most authentic, and talented self to the school auditors.
WHAT WE WILL WORK ON:
PIECES: We will work on finding pieces that showcase your talents and range.
THE WORK: Meeting for a specified number of times (to be determined in consultation) and using various acting methods, we will keep working to uncover the truth of the material, showcasing you as an artist, until you are confident with your overall audition.
INTERVIEWS/DRESS: Lastly, we will work on breath, confidence, mock auditions, interviews and concentration/relaxation work for the potentially endless waiting room game so that you, rather than your nerves, shine through.
An acting coach is a professional who helps performers master their acting skills. They mentor aspiring actors, provide useful tips, and lead them towards becoming successful actors.
